ADDITIVES & MODIFIERS
  • SOFT HAND NON BUILD BASE - A clear plastisol ink which when added to pigmented plastisol improves printability and improves the resistance to build up. A further benefit is that this additive gives a much softer hand to the finished print.
  • PLASTISOL THINNER - The most effective viscosity reducer for plastisol inks. Plastisol Thinner should only be used to a maximum addition of 3%. Excessive use can affect the cure and wash fastness of the print.
  • CURABLE REDUCER - A very low viscosity clear plastisol which can be added to plastisol ink in any amount to reduce viscosity without effecting the cure properties. For normal viscosity reduction additions of between 5% and 10% should be adequate.
  • FAST FUSION CURABLE REDUCER - A very low viscosity clear fast fusion plastisol which can be added to plastisol inks in any amount to lower viscosity. FF Curable Reducer has the benefit of Lowering the cure temperature of conventional inks and is the reducer of choice for low cure and metallic ink systems.
  • PUFF ADDITIVE - When added to a plastisol ink at between 10% and 12% this additive will give a raised or puff effect to the print. Additions of between 1% and 3% can be used to increase opacity of coloured inks with minimal colour change.
  • FAST FUSION BASE - Ideal for producing inks on heat sensitive fabrics or stretch fabrics such as Lycra or Spandex. The low cure characteristics and clarity of this base make it ideal for the production of metallic and thick ink film inks such as glitters. Maximum recommended pigment dispersion loading is 25%.
