Western Star offers a comprehensive range of plastisol inks, intermediates, additives and modifiers. This extensive range of products gives the textile screen printer a wide choice of both performance and cost-effective inks for printing on all normal types of fabric using both manual and automatic equipment. Western Star produces some of the finest specialised textile screen-printing plastisols on the market today and continues the development of technology, which has generated the rapid growth in the Textile Screen printing Industry internationally.

All batches of inks are blended on up to date computerised mixers that weigh every component of the plastisol mix. From the beginning of the mix, Plasticiser, Temperature and Resins are monitored and measured to maximise finished ink consistency. Only after standardised approved QC tests will the product be released?
We offer ready mixed wet-on-wet direct printing inks in both standard and high opacity ranges. For those who wish to mix their own colours we have available two single pigment mixing systems and also a pigment dispersion and base system.
Several different direct print bases are available including a Fast Fusion Base which can be used as a first down clear as well as the basis for a highly elastic ink suitable for printing on stretch fabrics such as Spandex or Lycra.
Both Cold Peel and Hot Split Transfer ink are available as either ready mixed inks or as single pigment mixing systems.
A range of white inks to compliment each system has been formulated to provide the ultimate performance in the areas of opacity, wet-on-wet printability, flash curing and bleed resistance.
The Western Star range also includes speciality inks. Puff, Suede, Lustre, Crystalina and Glitter plastisols are all available for special effects
Western Star plastisols are supplied ready for use but a range of viscosity and rheology modifiers are also offered for those who wish to make adjustments. Adhesive powders and adhesion promoters are also available.
Western Star provides full technical support for all its products. Individual technical data and material safety data sheets are available for each product range.
